whenever i try to install latest games on my computer, sometimes i get the open gl error on my desktop..is there any solution to fix this problem without buying any specific hardware,so that i can continue with my games...how best can this problem be fixed??
my computer specification-
amd sempron -VIA KM266 PRO chipset ,A(462)socket, K7VM3(asrock motherboard).... winxp -operating system, ram-256mb

1st of open gl is with reguard to a video card( in this case the lack of one mentioned here?) 256 meg ram wow and you can play anythig but like PONG? im suprised, seriously though, chk that all drivers are correct and settings are as well, some cheaper boards cards dont support open gl and have to use a lower setting to run the games.. i had same prob with a 128meg rage pro vid card , open gl wasnt an option i had to use the mother board support to get games to work...

the only thing you can do is buy a vga card that supports open gl.

try to re-install your video graphic driver. you did'nt mentioned your video card?????
