I have a desktop and I also have a TV Tuner Card already installed. I also S-Video connected between the computer and TV. Now how do I get the content on my computer appear on the TV. Is there a button to push to change from my computer monitor to my TV...If so...do you know which buttons? Please help

i just bought a wireless mouse for my laptop (a sony vaio). my o.s. is windows vista and the mouse that i purchased is compatible with it, but it isn't working! i installed the software, placed the reciever into the usb port, restarted my computer...but nothing is happening.

the mouse is a microsoft wireless notebook optical mouse 4000. how could i fix this?

I have a 2005 Gateway laptop that keeps shutting down whenever it feels like it. It had other problems (not pertaining to this), so I took it into Best Buy to get fixed. They started my computer from complete scratch when I got it back, so I don't get why it's doing this. Anyone can help?

I'm not the greatest with computers so if you have an idea, please be specific. Appreciate it.

I've since changed my hard drive. But I have a toshiba 40 Gig drive in plastic wrap, that I would like to repair and turn it into an 2.5" external drive.

So how can repair the bad sector on the drive?
Would I have to take it to a computer shop?

Help! I found a great deal on a 1GB RAM upgrade for my laptop, but my system can only hold a TOTAL of 1 GB, so I was trying to get to my original RAM to remove it and replace with the new one, but I can't get the screws out to get under the keyboard! :-( Does anyone know if its possible to disable the original card somehow? Then I could just install the new card in the 2nd slot that's easy to get to.....

When the video plays it is just a blank screen, and that is with any program. But everything else is visible that is on the screen of the laptop. Once, the video showed up, but it didn't before or after. I am baffled, someone help!

My laptop is no longer recognizing my cd-rom drive. I tried to make a cd, and then itunes told me "disc burner or software not found." Now, I've come to find that any cd I put in isn't recognized. I dont' want to have to crash my computer, so any advice would be great.

I have a Compaq/HP Presario 1800NX. I have clean formated it, and have installed all of the drivers for everything. I have disabled my integrated video card in the Bios and Windows. So what gives? It uses 150mbs of ram sitting. I have gone into MSCONFIG, and turned stuff off there to. It has had a completely clean XP Pro on it, and has very few programs on it. Is this normal for Compaqs and HP's. I have had this question forever. I thought it was the integrated video card, but its disabled.
I am confused.

I changed the memory on my pc, the memory wasn't the right size, so we took it back but the pc with the old memory never came back on. We tried turning it on several times, the pc works, but nothing comes on the screen. The screen says "not video input", we checked all the cables, all is connected but nothing comes on the screen. My computer reads audio cds and cds with information already on them (such as burned music cds, data cds, etc), but won't read a blank cd. If I insert a blank cd into the cd-rom drive, the computer indicates that is detecting it, but then it never allows me to open the cd (D:\) drive. When I double click on my D:\ drive in My Computer, it says, please insert a disk into drive D:. Does anyone know what the problem is?
