Now after the release of the full version. Almost everything is compatible. Norton, Mcafee (doesn't work for all people for some reason), and AVG anti-virus are all supported. If you have Intel, AMD, and ATI hardware then they are all supported. AND... what can I say. Almost everything else is. And if you have something that is not compatible then you could try running the Program Compatibility Wizard and see if the program works after you choose the right settings. If you don't know where to find the Program Compatibility Wizard than choose "Help and Support" from the start menu and type "Program Compatibility Wizard" in the search box. Choose the link and the wizard will open. All other instructions should be on the screen then.

Most of the new hardware is supported by vista, but most older hardware is not supported, but there are drivers coming out now for the older hardware to make it work with vista.

Well, Me THINKS Windows Vista requirements are insanely high. One Gig of RAM just to run an operating system? Come on now. It is not SUPPORTED by me.
