Hi I want to get a internal card reader and I was wondering what do they connect to on the motherboard? Do they connect to Floppy, IDE or S-ATA inside your computer? I have 2 hard disks connected to the IDE port and 2 DVD-RW drives connected to the other IDE port and a Floppy disk Drive connected (I don't want to get rid of it if the card readers use the same connection) or S-ATA I have two of those if It connects like the front USB ports and the headphone jack on the front of my case I have a free 8-pin usb connector (common on Asus motherboards). I'm converting a ton of video. I've estimated it will take 24 hours to do it. I have a custom built (and I'm only 13!!) Core 2 Duo e6600 oc'd at 2800 MHZ, full load at 63C and 65C.

Will it be safe? I'm using TAT for my temps, and SpeedFan says the same. I've used the throttle on TAT to lower it to 2412 MHZ. Ambient is 30 C, case is 35 C. Several case fans, but running stock cooler.

Tomorrow I'm gonna apply new thermal paste. Other specs: 2GB RAM, Nvidia 7600GT, Asus P5B Deluxe, 250GB Seagate HDD. Thanks for all the answers!

I installed the zune software on my pc , and thats all fine. But when I plug the zune in ( to any USB ) port , i keep getting the error , " an error occured during installation " . When it is plugged in, I go to device manager ,and the zune is there ,but with a yellow ! beside it. I tried installing the zune on another pc and it worked perfect, its just my laptop. I think its drivers , but now it simply will not recognoise my zune. Would there be any other program blocking it from installing. I bought the zune in the US , and I am in Europe now, so I cannot return it, so i am left with it. Please, if someone knows ,help.

32-bit versions of Windows Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Enterprise, and Ultimate: 4GB.

This guy had 3.2GB available.
People here had 2GB, 3.58GB, and 3GB available.
This guy had 2.5 GB.
And this guy had 2.8GB available.

So whats going on? Is this suppose to happen?

Having had looked at some of the other questions around here, I know what the answer most would think is to my question (i.e. Binary to Metric conversion) but bear with me:

I am being told now by my XPSP2 laptop that my 232GB External Hard Drive has no free space left to copy into. Yet it also detects nearly 100GB free, and there is 132GB of space currently being used. Surely this can't be put down to just partition tables. What's going on? What can I do to fix this?

So far i have just pluged it into the PC hook up in the back, and when i turn the PC on it comes through but it is not ajusted to the screen and i get a flashing "Invalid Hookup" - Am i doing something wrong? Or maybe i need additional equipment?

I opened up my mouse, and im currently using it without the top, because the left click on the mouse is only working about 1 in every 50 or so clicks with the shell on it.
Is there a way I can make the click work again with the shell on or do I simply have to buy a new mouse?

My computer is slow and has low disk space. Its making a loud machine sound.
Sounds like and electric guitar.
It sounds good.
