I have a Logitech Computer Headset Micophone. Before I go and buy a new one, I want to ask Yahoo if they know how to fix my mic's problem. The headphone speakers still work. I can hear incoming sound....but my Microphone isn't picking up any sound at all. The only way my voice goes through is when I yell at the top of my lungs...but even then, my voice comes out faint. Believe me, I recorded myself on Audacity and Skype Test Call. This is reallllly bugging me. I havent been able to call any of my online friends. Anyone have any answers to my problem???

I would like to connect my mic to an amplifier using my computer (since my amplifier has no mic input). I want some software that would cause my microphone input to come out of the speakers as I speak. How do I do that?

I just bought an iBook with a 30GB hard drive, and I bought a new hard drive for it which is a 5400 RPM 120GB, I have an external Hard drive case (USB) and I want to copy everything to that new hard drive, so I can just install it into my laptop, and start it up with out any problems and start OS X

and all i want to do is move media from my SLVR L7 to my computer and from my computer to my phone and I've installed it on my computer but it asks me for a dial-up connection number. and i don't know what to put. help ?? i've tried everything i can think of. and i want to know why i need an internet connection just to bluetooth stuff. I was reading about my computer and found this article.

I was wondering what does it mean by formatting the hard drive, how do i do it, and would it delete all of the stuff on my hard drive?

everytime i plug my ipod usb cable in my computer it starts beeping madly and wont stop unitl i take the cable out?
it isint my usb port because everything else works when i plug it in...like my data bar.

I bought an ATI Radeon x300 graphics card and it does not fit in the graphics slot. The card i boughtt is a PCIE (i think) and when i check my PCs Device name it says SiS 651C. Have i bough the wrong card and if so can anyone tell me what i should be looking for it would be a great help as i have been dying to play this game for a while. Thanx all

The Sony System came with the VISTA already loaded on it. My concern is that I don't have full usage of the 64bit dual processor. I tried to install the XP from the start when booting he computer by placing he XP disk in the drive first and then start the computer. Even thought it installs, it still trys to boot VISTA, this tells me that a boot sector for Vista is still on the drive. I want to put XP on it so that I can use my Lexmark printer with the Sony VAIO VGN-N230E B 1.73GHz processor, 15.4in display.

My old pc has 1 hard drive which of course has the os and other information on it, I have already taken my old hard drive out and the ribbon cable as well but now im finding it difficult to change the jumper setting to slave as its quite small to take out the plastic thing, also how do i connect my old hard drive to my new pc power supply and the motherboard?

Using my old computer is not an option as there was a problem with the os saying 'corrupt windows system32' so thats why i had to take out the old hard drive and didnt reinstall the os due to losing data. I got the ribbon cable that connects to the hard drive and motherboard so now how do i connect it as a second hard drive on my new Pc.

My old hard drive is a 'Segate ATA U Series 7 80 Gbytes ' and my new pc motherboard is a 'ASUS P5N32-E SLI' is there anyway at all to connect the old hard drive to the new pc and how?
I need detailed instructions on this please if you can and any ideas would help. thanks

For those who have Canon Canoscan, I need some help. I have a Canon Canoscan 8600. I want to scan slides but I can't figure out how. The troubleshooting says to select "film" from the dropdown menu but it isn't listed. What am I doing wrong?

I just installed a new external hard drive onto my computer. The computer recognizes it in the device manager. There are also no errors as it claims it is working properly. All of the drivers are updated and installed as well. It is an external hard drive enclosure with a Samsung 300gb hard drive inside. The computer knows it connected to the usb but wont show it on the removable device in explorer. It also does not allow to me save anything but it knows its connected. Is there anyway for me to make it reconize it as plug n play. It is an metal gear box by galaxy i bought it on newegg.com

Hi, in windows, if you hit WIN-R on your keyboard you'll open up the "run box" found in START>RUN.

Is it possible to change system settings to allow this to happen when a different set of keys are hit (e.g. if I double-click the ALT key)?

As another example, google-desktop will pop up a search bar if I double-click on the CTRL key, but I don't know how this feature is set.

Cannot print with the black cartridge. If I try to copy by pressing BLACK button, nothing is printed. But, if I copy by pressing the COLOR button, it is printed in black. I tried to Clean the cartridge but no black lines were printed. However, when I use the Align option, a black line is printed.

Tried two black cartridges and get the same results.

What might be tried to resolve this?

how can you put sound into power point and make it stay? Like i put it there it worked for that moment and when i went to change it to loop it, it stopped playing. I have a dell computer. I truelly dont understand the sound part of powerpoints other than that i understand it....

I have run adaware scan and cc cleaner and avg and spy bot but still no succes. I go to Control Panel - desktop themes and on the pull down menu with choices of backgrounds - none of them are click-able on-able. thx (Win XP)
