If its store bought look up the pc model number in a search engine, "located on the back of the pc".....Many sites list the specs for a mobo on their sites....
If its a home made pc, try a the link below....it will tell you model numbers of all your attached hardware, then you can do a search using the mobo model number....Its free to sign up and use.....

There are many good software for that purpose. One of the is Sisoftsandra lite. You can use Tune- Up Utilities 2006 or 7 also but it is a trial version of 30 days. How ever, sisoftsandra will tell you every minute detail of your motherboard.
