If you had just put in a new MB, check the memory module and make sure its seated right. Along with the jumper settings on the motherboard, the connections, IDE, SATA, cd-rom, ect. If you can, try resetting the CMOS/Bios to the default value. If you have onboard video, connect to that. And one last thing, if the computer is initiating, meaning once you press the power, it sounds like it boots up and it's obvious, you just don't have video? Or nothing, no noise from the hard drive and so on, just nothing. First, make sure the hardware is connected properly, jumper settings and so on just to rule it out. then get in to your BIOS Set Up Utlility and make you changes. Unless you ha no display from the time you press the power button. In that case, i'd check the jumper settings on the motheboard, and the memory module. Well, i wish i could help you more, it's jus that i'm not in front of the PC. hope you fix it.

Is it just no video? If you can tell that the computer is actually booting (it should beep as is posts) and you are sure your cables are plugged in correctly and your monitor is on, then you may have a bad board. If you have no video AND no post, then you may have assembled it incorrectly or once again, a bad board.
It is tough to say specifically without more details, but these are the general answers to a general question.
