When I Try to start it up, it says "ntldr is missing" when I try to boot it up.!!!!
what should I DO?!?!?!?!
I need a solution and help...FAST!

It said it would not work in Vista until I formatted it in NTSF. I did and now its gone down in size from 256 MB to 101MB. I had another one do simular. How do yo remove the partition; please!!

I have the Sims 2 and a couple of expansion packs. I have an 80 GB external hard drive, and I want to install the games there and run them from there to keep them from running slow on my computer. When I am starting my install, I get an error message that says that the folder can not be created on my external drive. Am I doing somethinf wrong or is there something that I need to do to the externalk drive first?

When i bought my windows vista labtop i bought a usb mouse to use and when i plug it in and try to use it boh my mouses stop woking i cant use either mouse and have to use the tab button to uninstall the usb mouse why is this?
Can someone please help me it is very irritating

For the past two weeks, my computer is behaving strangely.Its 3.06Pentium 4 with 256 RAM. but now it processes like Pentium -PII.
I think it could b bcoz of any virus from any software downloaded from internet sites ,as I dont use any Anti virus bcoz it reduces the speed. Later on I used "String" Macaffee to clean it but it could only provide solution for time being after 1 or 2 days problem comes back again.

But cd R/W is troubling me the most.all of a sudden it stops detecting the cds in the drive n shows drive is empty while there is cd in it.when I restore the computer to some back date when it was functioning allright CD drive works well but after 1 or 2 days problem is there again.I also used a Lense cleaner CD to clean the lense nearly 2 weeks back. Is this may b a root cause of all the problems.

Pls help me to combat these problems and provide solution for some better online available Antivirus for future ref..Pls mention

I make sure that the computer is turned off as well as the printer, a Lexmark 5400, and while I may watch TV or ??? the printer turns on by itself. I have a new Vista e machine. what causes the printer to turn on?

Ok, I am curious about testing my PSU, to ensure I have enough power. I am currently 350W, but I am running a PCI-E video card. If I took the PSU from another computer, jumped the green and black MB cables to turn it on, can I run my HDD, CD, etc. off of it and dedicate the original PSU to the MB to test my power needs?

When I start the board with ONLY a 2.4 GHz Celeron, and one 256MB SMT (smart modular technologies) RAM I get a blinking Power LED, and nothing else.


when I put the same 2.4 GHz CPU and RAM into my other Biostar P4M80-M4 it starts up for just a second, fans spin, then shuts off. And I have to restart the PSU to get it to do that again.

I tried using different RAM, like some Kingston 512 cards and such, and 2 different PSUs (both of which succesfully power 2 other PCs) but I can't get this thing to POST. I've also reset the BIOS on both boards.

I don't know what else to do. I NEED one of them to work. Could it be the CPU? should I try it with another 478 P4? on that note, anyone have an old one they wouldn't mind sending my way for a few bucks?

When I hook my PC up to my TV via S-video cord, I can see the desktop but it won't show any video from media players. I can see everything else. Also it has no sound on TV. What can I do?

I need a fix for my Dell Inspiron 4000 running WIN XP, I think this computer used to have WIN ME. Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix this problem? I hooked up a motherboard to a case, plugged in the power, reset, etc in to where it said, plugged everything in accordingly, then plugged the power supply in, and it turned on...without being on...if that makes sense. So all the fans, lights, everything ran, but nothing came on. I couldnt shut it down or turn it on...why? I plugged everything in correctly where it was supposed to. I thought it could be coincidence, but, it happened again...Though...I only replaced the power supply without plugging anything in except the power. Though...after it turned on...I hit the power...and it turned on...and it doesnt stay on after I shut it down...its weird and complicated. What causes this?

Previously I use fdisk command in DOS to delete a partition. Now this command doesn't exist in WinXP. What can I do? Best of all, if I don't have to reformat the existing partition not to be deleted.

Well...I need to know if the motherboard is compatible with the case. I know itll fit, but will all the hookups work. Then, if you can, could someone say if this is all compatible, as in, will it work when I hook it all up?
