It said it would not work in Vista until I formatted it in NTSF. I did and now its gone down in size from 256 MB to 101MB. I had another one do simular. How do yo remove the partition; please!!

Plug it in to the PC, Treat it exactly like a Hard Drive, and either format the entire Flash Drive, or use Disc Management under Control Panel; You should also be able to merge partitions under control panels Disc Management; go to Administrative tools, then to disc management, and it will display all Drives that the PC can see

in "My computing gadget" outstanding click on your USBpersistent, and click "format" or "Reformat". in case you do not see it in that context menu, you would be able to could desire to get right of entry to the formatting recommendations interior the "properties" window. Btw, reformating will delete the whole USBpersistent.
