Open you tower case and look for an empty pci or agp slot. They very easily click in and then you just install the relevant drivers.
Belarc advisor will tell you what slots you have free.

well first you have to figure out the typr of slot the card is, for example if its recent its probably a PCI express or of its old it could be just a PCI or ISA slot. once you know that you just open up your computer case and look at your motherboard for an open slot of that type. then with the power off you just insert it. screw it in to secure it and put everything back together. turn power on and windows should reconize it and install the drivers. hopefully you have a CD with it so that should not be a problem if not then just go to the website of the sound card.

open case, find free pci slot, interest card, screw into plate, put case back on, turn machine on, install cd.
