I have dell speakers with subwoofer that i bought a few weeks ago. They have been working until i pluged headphones into the front of my computer. I have tried alot of things and still havent been able to fix it. Please someone help me. (things ive tried-unplugging the speakers, looking in the control panel, unplugging everything to do with the speakers)Any help would be helpful.

I can see my desktop and have acess to my icons and can open up file but the screen blinks in and out and most of the time the blinks are very lenghty.

every time i look at a video game i see the system requirements[i need to know if it will work on my pc] but 1 thing.....i dont know what my pc has!! i dont have any papers that came with it. so is there any way to find out what my stuff is?? like

I put on some new speakers a few months ago, nice ones. They had good sound, not too lout, not too quet... but one day...
So now, my speakers are waaay too loud. My comp is at it's lowest system volume setting without being off and it's still too loud - what do I do? iTunes isn't the problem, it's the whole system. My speakers have no volume knob anywhere, and the cable connecting the speakers to my comp is fine (I even switched it out for a new one, it's still loud).
Does anyone have a fix?

I want to power a PS/2 keyboard and be able to switch on/off the 3 led lights (caps, num, scroll) I tried to supply 5Vdc to the keyboard from an external battery or regulated power supply, but after pressing Num/Caps/Scroll led lights did not light up.

Is the status of these lights is controlled by the timing/data signals?

Any circuit design or kit or device on the market that make the keyboard led lights operate as they are connected to a PC?

i used to lable cd/dvds with like sticky labels but now i heard from a freind your not suppose to do that kuz it will damage it and then i heard your not really suppose to use markers on cds kuz of the solvent so my question is how are you suppose to label cds.. and are sharpies good for labeling cd or dvds

Both video & photos are dark, but everything else isn't, so it's not my monitor. I know there has to be some setting that can make it brighter. I don't want to (nor was I able to figure out the last suggested) add a program to fix this. If it's something like a driver setting, please tell me EXACTLY how to change it, I'm driver stupid. Thanks a bazillion in advance.

ok, when I go to turn on my laptop it lights up lke it is going to boot but then the screen never comes on and everything stops. It doesn't continue to boot. The battery is fine in the computer. There is no error message and no weird noises. So when I turn it off to try to and restart it, it immediantly cuts off as soon as I hit the power button. Normally for a computer you would have to hold it down for a few seconds, but it doesn't. What could be wrong with it? It is under limited warranty but i just don't want to send it off for them to tell me I need to pay hundreds of dollars without some warning on here first. lol.. please help. thanks!

You may think this is strange, but please tell me if i'm going crazy or being retarded. My computer every know and then, makes this sound like the fan is vibrating on the left of the computer and it last for about 10 minutes then stop. My computer is a Dell Optiplex GX60 and my brother doesn't get this problem, in fact I haven't heard a computer do this before. Now get this, I was trying to record the sound on my camcorder, the sound is pretty loud, but when I pressed play, I didn't hear it all I heard was the t.v., and also get this, my dad is a computer technician and never heard that sound and also he says he can't hear the sound and it's about 2 rooms loud. My whole family can't hear the sound when it happens, only me and I don't know if this is a problem with this kind of computer or if it's just me.

Okay I have done this a few times before But I have bought a new Hard Drive(one I care about this time) and would like to make sure i dont screw up.

I have 3 Hard drives.
I only have enough cables for 2
I have 2 With stuff On them(one segate and another I forgot brand)
1 Brand New(WD 160g)
I need to copy One of the ones I have stuff on(the one I have Windows on) and copy it onto my new oneand eventually replace it so long story short....

.....HDDa+HDDb in computer
I think i need to put
HDDc+HDDb and copy HDDb onto HDDc
and eventually have
HDDa+HDDc in computer

And I don't think I can use windows to copy because I will end up getting a (the file is being used by another person or progam) error

So I need a file or program or something i can load off of a cd of floppy

I bought a laptop and it said that I had to activate vista or else it won't work so when I did, it said that it was unvalid and not genuine but it is. My friends new laptop is running on Vista, and now is having several problems with access speeds for Microsoft applications. Upon speaking to Microsoft, she was advised to upgrade by adding another 512mb RAM chip (bringing it up to 1Gb). If I do this, will I have to update the BIOS setup? I am assuming no for now, as the laptop is brand new, am I wrong in my assumption?

My mom has an e monster (e machine) that's about 6-7 years old. The monitor just up and decided not to work. It's not getting power. Tried in other plug, still won't work. No lights, no blinking, the speakers plug into the monitor for a power source and nothing from them either. I guess I just want confirmation from someone who has better tech. knowledge that the damn thing is dead, unless there is some sort of magical ceremony that I can perform.
