I have dell speakers with subwoofer that i bought a few weeks ago. They have been working until i pluged headphones into the front of my computer. I have tried alot of things and still havent been able to fix it. Please someone help me. (things ive tried-unplugging the speakers, looking in the control panel, unplugging everything to do with the speakers)Any help would be helpful.

On newer pc's with the headphone jacks in the front: when you plug in the headphones it disables the speakers. When you unplug the headphones the speakers will resume normal function. A pc does not normally support headphones and speakers at the same time.

Try checking the head phones connect in the another system and see they are working or not or miht be a loose contact be the problem of the front sound cable on the mother board see check onece again correctly it sould be a small problem dont worry.

try unplugging the head phones then go to the little speaker looking thing on ur tool bar and see if u have the sound muted my Friend muted hers once and she is like i think my speakers are out and i un-muted it and it worked so i hope it is tat u have it muted

Check your audio properties to insure that your front headphone jack has not become default. You may need to reselect the proper setting

possibly there is something incorrect inclusive of your front audio enter hollow, open the laptop and make sure no longer something is broken (if its a laptop) if its a laptop then I propose going to a restoration save except you extremely be attentive to what you're doing

try turning off your computer and restarting it.check all wires to see if any has got a loose connection. good luck
