Ram types you can put in are: DDR2 400/533/667MHz

You should be able to put in any PCI Express video card

You can put an EIDE hard drive in it. I suggest Western Digital

As much as it pains me to say it. HP makes very good DVD drives

Just watch how much you put in with only a 450 watt power supply...you'll have power issues if you put too much high end stuff in...so if you want to do that, i'd get between a 500 and 600 watt power supply

Depends on what OS you will be using, Microsoft has an HCL , hardware compatibility list , that covers this if you use windows.
Seems like this has the latest HCL and similar lists for Windows:

i dont think that it is a good barbone but if you use this then get a western digital 160gb hd. see www.zipzoomfly.com or www.directron.com. Use sony dual layer dvd-r burner. get plenty of memory.
