Ok, I am curious about testing my PSU, to ensure I have enough power. I am currently 350W, but I am running a PCI-E video card. If I took the PSU from another computer, jumped the green and black MB cables to turn it on, can I run my HDD, CD, etc. off of it and dedicate the original PSU to the MB to test my power needs?

If you have to ask the question, you have no business inside of it!

i would just advise getting a large power supply to eg 600watt rather than using 2 powers supply units.
