No.

The Windows Product Activation system checks ten categories of hardware:

Display Adapter
SCSI Adapter
IDE Adapter (effectively the motherboard)
Network Adapter (NIC) and its MAC Address
RAM Amount Range (i.e., 0-64mb, 64-128mb, etc.)
Processor Type
Processor Serial Number
Hard Drive Device
Hard Drive Volume Serial Number (VSN)
CD-ROM / CD-RW / DVD-ROM

I think you get 3 changes. But as long as you don't change your Network Adapter, you get 5. After that, you will have to contact Microsoft for a new activation number.

No. A hardware change in most cases refers to the motherboard as the motherboard constitutes a new system and will require you to reinstall Windows and/or purchase an new license.

You can change your monitor and other such devices as many times as you wish.

I changed a mobo in a computer and did not have to relicense or repurchase. It just depends, I suppose.

To see if your OEM is activated, click Start -> Run and type in
%SYSTEMROOT%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /A
