My Dell Dimension 2400 (2002) Series [as old as she can be lol] only has a CD Rom. Could a DVD Rom be attached to it? And if I need to purchase the DVD Rom where could I purchase it other than with Dell?

at skool on a pc, my m8 was borrowing someone elses username and was mucking about with the start toolbar making it massive. Then I tried to get it down and it went to the top! I knew why and how it got there but I couldn't get it down again! I tried dragging it down to the bottom but it didn't work! Plz tell me how 2 do it or wat 2 do since ill get in trouble at school! I tried doing it onto this laptop but it wont go to the top! plz HELP ME! the idea that works will b my best answer with 5 stars!!!

Hello,

I have a standard CRT monitor from the manufacturer Hyundai. The brightness or Contrast or whatever seems to be messed up and everything is appearing much darker than it actually is. I tried playing around with the Monitors menu but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ok guys as you can see I'm not really a computer tech..=/ So yeah I' trying to play a game Counter Strike and it wont start up it loads then the CS window goes away. So I check to see what was going on and it said my computer needs more Mhz( aound 1200) and more Mb. So I want to know where I can get that without having to go purchase another computer..or if anyone can help me with the problem of why CS doesnt load up, I would greatly appreciate it even more! =D thank you.

i've already checked drivers and cleaned my registry. i'm not sure what else i can do now except take it in and pay for some one else to fix it. this is a work computer and i can't be without it for that long. i'm barely functioning as it is without my touchpad. please help me.

I recently had the blue screen of death evertime i started up, so my only option i could think of is to re-intall windows over the top, having done this(just about) i found all my data had dissapeared, my hardrive says it is nearly empty again but im sure the data is there somewhere as windows media player had a video on when i installed it that i remeber from before the re-install. Also it has a problem restarting. If I let it set for a while though it starts right up. Seems to me like a heat related problem.

I upgrade my ram to two sticks of 512. It doesn't seem to have increase my speed in the programs i use. Is there anything else I need to do to make sure my comp recognizes the new memory? After I installed it the computer told me that it had new memory sticks. What should I do?
