Is this a good deal or would I be better off buying everything seperate?

Better to buy everything separately. I also wouldn't buy a case off eBay (unless it was just the case). The power supply in there isn't very good either, it only has 20 amps on the 12V rail, too little to run a powerful video card (like a 8800GTS). I'd head on over to Newegg and pick out a case (without a power supply) and then pick out a nice power supply. Here are my choices...

A nice 750W PSU, http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=2010320058+1131414179&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=58

A Thermaltake Case (I have one very similar to this one), it has gotten me through two PC configurations, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811133030

Well let's see...

Buy it now price = $229

Samsung 160Gb HDD = $50

Cheap POS soundcard = $10

Floppy drive = $10

Big honking case with 500watt PS= ~$100 depending on design

50 + 10 +10 + 100 = $170

So, no... it is not a good deal.

Try looking up the parts on Newegg.com

it may be a gaming case but "WHERE'S THE GRAPHICS CARD?" they emphasise the sound card and psu, hard drive but being it's a gaming case, for that price i would expect a decent graphics card instead.......

buy seperate if i were you.
