Hi all its nearly my 15th birthday on April 2nd but i need to know a question for my birthday present =)
Its simple can someone give the name of a fast video card/graphic card in between £100-200.
Information my motherboard can hold AGP or PCI.

PS: Please dont suggest for me to buy a gams console because i prefer RPG games and all the good ones are on the PC.

I think the charger sent with a recent purchase (used) is not the right one. It gets really hot, but seems to do the charging. The device label is DC 16V/3.75 amp, charger/adapter label is 16V/2.5 amp.

I have bought an add-on that tells me I must have SP2 (Service Pack 2) installed.

Evidently it is a key update that should have been installed over 2 years ago automatically, but some PCs still don't have it.

How do I check if I have it or not?

i am not using batteries so i do not think its a battery problem.i can´t check the advance setting or do a virus scan because the laptop comes on only for about 2-4 min (booting included) before shutting off again.can anyone help.
