Have tried the usual Currys PC World Maplin, they don't seem to understand these cards but are selling laptops with them!

To the first answerer, ExpressCard is the laptop equivalent to PCI Express. It's replacing the standard cardbus.

As of right now there isn't a lot out for ExpressCard. I've only seen firewire cards, USB cards, TV tuner cards, memory card readers, and wireless networking cards.

i think you are getting confused you are asking for an express card i think you mean a pci express card this is the graphics card which is soldered to the motherboard you cannot buy this as an upgrade for any laptop any where is is put in when the machine is built
