No, most computers use or F2. I've never seen one use F4. Some name-brands use oddballs (Sony and Dell use F10 and HP uses F12, for example).

Anyways.

The layout of the BIOS varies by manufacturer, so I can't give you a specific answer. Usually there will just be a page/menu that says BOOT, then a submenu that says BOOT PRIORITY or BOOT ORDER. You always set it to FLOPPY (if you have one), then CDROM, then USB/REMOVABLE STORAGE (if you have the option), then HARD DISK. Don't enable NIC/NETWORK DEVICE because that's only for if you have a central boot server, and it will only cause the computer to hang for 10 seconds while it checks your network.

When you've got your changes done, go to the EXIT menu, then make sure you choose SAVE (or COMMIT) SETTINGS AND EXIT. Otherwise it will toss the changes.

try to access to BIOS setting by press either F1, F2 or Del key right after you turn on the computer, and you have less than 5 seconds to do that, if you did get in, try to look for Boot Sequence.

The other way around is...while the computer restart, some computer has a special predefine to do that without going through BIOS is F-12, like Dell, IBM, HP. Press F-12, then select your choice of start-up drive

most computers use f4 button to enter setup at startup. reboot your computer and wait until you see for startup press -------- and press that key. once you enter setup go to cmos settings and boot sequence settings and change then press f10 to save and exit that's it
