You need to asses what you want the computer to do, and how you are going to use the computer. Make a list of must have's for you in a computer, then shop around for a laptop that meets those requirements. Different computers are designed for different functions depending on how the owner is planning on using the device.

you need lots of RAM, lots of H/D space, a good grapics card, sound card, and a subscription to Limewire.
