Bluetooth is technology which could be built in any device like Laptop,Mobile,P.D.A etc to transfer the data or there could be a Bluetooth Adapter also which helps in communicating between Bluetooth and Non -Bluetooth Device. For transfering data between two Bluetooth devices you need to first establish connection .Just make sure that both of your devices have bluetooth enabled and each could recognise one another.Usually Bluelight indicates enabling of device and further processing.Once the connection is established you can select item and look for options .It must be having option to send via bluetooth to (Name of Another Device).

firstly on your phone on the menu or settings it should say bluetooth, you just go on that and then switch the bluetooth on.
you dont need any device for it.

what do you want to use the BT with? from a cell fone to cell fone? or cell fone to computer that has BT? or computer to cell fone? yes, you can do all that, if the cell and computer that has BT built-in.
