Whats wrong with it.

It probably doesn't log you out, the screen saver comes on and is probably password protected on restart. If you right click anywhere on your desktop and then select properties, then screensaver on the tab at the top of the box, you can adjust settings from there.

Does a screensaver run after a period of inactivity and require you to re-enter your password?

You may have activated "require password" feature of your screensaver. If this is the case you can deactivate by right-clicking on the empty desktop.

- click properties
- click screensaver
- Choose "none" for screen saver.

right click desktop--->properties--->desktop. when you set the sleep timer it will ask you to set password to unlock screen or not. dont set it to lock.
