The quality of the disc depends from the size:

But for a 320 GB, I would recommend the Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS (320GB 7200 RPM ). It need some cooling, but a very good performance.

I have had a 320gb Western Digital Caviar for over a year with no problems, and great performance. I have also had an 80gb WD hard drive for about 3 years, that has not failed me.

What you might want to do is read some reviews for different drives on newegg.com
