I have Windows XP Home Edition on a Dell Computer... Windows keeps prompting me to download and install the Video - Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller. It downloads fine, but when I try to install, it says "Updates were unable to be successfully installed. The following updates were not installed: Dell Inc. - Video - Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller" ... I push close and then it prompts me to install again. I really need it to be installed!!! On my computer, everything is huge. What do I do??

so i had to shut it down with the power button (5 second hold) and now the laptop will not start up - all I get is the light coming on that says I tried to start it.

My PC can used to play DVD movies but now it cannot. The light for the dive just flickers and nothing happened. Secondly, my audio CD are orginal but some disc can be played while some cannot. The games disc are also original but they cannot be installed. Previous installed game cannot be played now as the drive cannot read the disc. What can be the problem ?

I got a acp ep 1gig flashdrive and tried to install it but it wont work. My windows xp can detect it but I cant get it to work. When i send something to it message reads please insert disc into drive e. Any ideas on how to fix would be appreciated.

I have a Lexmark 603 printer and yesterday when i replaced the black ink cartridge it now only prints blank pages. I cannot even do a test page or nothing. I really need to fix this problem TODAY as my son as to print out his assignment over the w/end. Thanks in advance for any help.

everytime i start my computer, it lets me log on but then i get an error that says something happened and it won't let me on so damage won't be done to my computer or something.
so it says if i get that once, restart but if i get it again, remove/disable any stuff i installed lately and then run a memory check to make sure it's aligned right + w/e. i went in safe mode (like i am now) uninstalled all the stuff i'd installed recently and it still won't let me log on.
what should i do? :(

I have a PC that my uncle built for me. It has been running well for several years.I think I messed it up, but I would like to un-mess it up. what happend was I went to the "Systen Registry", or what have you, to delete some programs. I went over bored and deleted everything I could. I dont know why, though haha!

Now, no programs will open, and I cant get anything to work. Everything has that icon which stands for "Uhh..which program do I use?"


I dont have restore disks. Or anything else. Please help. IM WILLING DO TO WHATEVER IT TAKES!!!

Believe me, it can not get worse.

I know both are fairly old, but its all i have right now and am not looking to beef up computer for video games when i have a PS3. But i was wondering which card should i throw in the computer i have. choices between NVidia Geforce FX5200 128MB AGP Video Card w/TV Out and ATI Raedon 8500 128mb AGP.

also, does anybody know any good tweaks i can do to these cards such as overclocking with good detailed instructions for a beginner to follow?

while I am using IE or word, I haven't tried any other programs, My screen flashes. It's like it is moving the screen around for a millisecond. Doesn't affect anything else, just annoying. I just had a new mobo installed, with a new case and power supply. Im now using a DNA nvidia geforce i-DNA gigabyte, those are the words on the box. Any ideas what happened? I will call the shop tomorrow, but am wondering if you guys can help at all. Thanks in advance!!
