ANYONE OUT THERE CAN ASSIST ME. THE AVG 7.1 THAT CAME WHEN I PURCHASED THE LAPTOP HAS NOW EXPIRED. I WAS GOING TO DOWN LOAD THE NEW VERSON UNTIL I GOT THIS WARNING " WHILE FILES FROM THE INTERNET CAN BE USEFUL. THIS FILE TYPE CAN POTENTIALLY HARM YOUR COMPUTER. IF YOU DON'T TRUST THE SORCE DO NOT RUN OR SAVE SOFTWARE. IS THERE ANOTHER SITE I CAN GET THE AVG7.5?

Please do not type in CAP. You need to go directly to the avg website to download it. I, however, don't recommend AVG. Download the free Avira Antivir PE here http://www.free-av.com/
Make sure you uninstall avg before install Avira.

It's simply a warning that you are about to open an exe. file. Which means that "if" it was a virus it would infect your computer. If you got the file from a reputable site, I wouldn't sweat it.

THE MESSAGE IS WARNING YOU. THAT THE FILE TYPE YOUR DOWNLOADING MAY HARM YOUR PC. THAT'S JUST A WARNING TO LET YOU KNOW WHATS GOING ON.IF YOU ARE GETTING THE FILE FROM THE SITE YOU NORMALLY GO TO TO GET THAT PROGRAM ITS SHOULD BE OK.ITS A EXE FILE.ANYTIME YOU DOWNLOAD THAT TYPE OF FILE YOUR GOING TO GET THAT MESSAGE

Uninstall the Pro "Expired" Version and download the free version, works just as good..

You probably just upgraded to service pack 2 didn't you?

Just click RUN, that's going to happen on every .exe file you download in internet explorer.

It will happen from EVERY sight.

BTW MOST PEOPLE FIND IT OFFENSIVE WHEN YOU TYPE IN ALL CAPS
