i a have e question i want to buy a ATI X1950Pro PCI-Express 256MB Video Card i have 3 pci slots and 1 agp ,amd sempron 3100+ with 512 of ram.where do y know if i have a pci-express and pls tell me if this video card will work on my computer and i also have a 300w power supply

and i also see on the internet that it is required to have 350w power supply and i only have 300w is that a problem??

No, but they make a similar card which is PCI, or you can get a new AGP card

You will need to find out from your PC's vendor, manual, or research what the PCI-Express slot looks like and open your system and look. If your system is over a year old I doubt that you have a PCI-Express and will need to stay with an AGP video card.
300W Power Supply is low to today's standards, especially if you want a high powered video card. You might need to upgrade that as well.

sounds like you dont have a pci-e slot, you will need to get an agp graphics card

Nope i have the same problem i just found out today it won't work unless you have a PCI-E (PCI Exprees) Slot , PCI E WONT EVEN FIT INTO A PCI SLOT ........You can upgrade your motherbaord but its not worth it ..... Just look for a card that supports PCI......
