yes i am installing a 2nd hard drive ( C: drive) on my computer and a screen is asking if i want to start windows normally or best recent setting i have no idea what to do was it the way i installed the hard drive?

If the OS was installed first on a hard drive then Windows assigns the drive C:, by default, in other words you can only have One C: Drive, the PC should assign the next available letter by default... And make sure the hard drive that the OS is on is "Jumped" to Master, and the second drive is "Jumped" to Cable Select or Slave..Good Luck

You could only have one C drive. If you wanna install another hard drive you have to set that drive as slave drive(set the jumper). And, the first one should be primary drive already.

go for the last known good it may have something to do with second hard drive did you set the jumpers correctly? or it might just be a fluke
