Yes, you can use it on any computer provided it has a usb drive (or whatever it uses to connect). They are specifically made for laptops because they are smaller and more portable. They will work for desktops however.

Yes you can use a mini mouse on a desktop computer. Presumably it's got a USB connection, so as long as your desktop PC has one of those (which most do) you should be okay.
May I ask why you would want to do this though? Is it for a small child trying to use the computer or something?

Assuming the PC port connections are equivalent (its USB or PS/2 style) then yes, of course. The question becomes one of comfort. Do you feel more comfortable with the smaller footprint? Or will a kindergartener be using the device? If so, you may want to consider purchasing a tracking device more in keeping with your needs (more ergodynamic, or specially made for younger children). To question your question, the ports are generally equal between a desktop and a portable. The main difference is what peripherals are installed and everything is integrated to save space.

they work, the only problem i had with mine was the cord wasnt really long. You can use a wireless mini mouse if you have that problem.

Yes you can use that, it won create any probs. just plug it into the mouse port or to the usb(depends)..

You could use it but I'll warn you they are not comfortable for extended use due to their small size.
