What have you got instead ? If it's a $ you need to change back to UK on bottom right hand corner.

The same thing happened to me, I spilt a can of sprite over mine. I got a wireless keyboard, which works fine. As a last resort Go to start / all programs / accessories / ease of access/ on screen keyboard

It's above the #3 key... seriously though you will have to reset your drivers for the keyboard, check with the manufacturer...

You've been very careless losing your £ sign in fact you've made a right # of things. Control Panel and Regional settings to the rescue.

it might have dropped down behind the W and the E. tip the keyboard upside down and give it a shake. it might drop out.

use the character map, on ur start menu, then accessories, then its there if not then try the folders in the accessories folder.. just copy that onto a wordpad, and save it, so next time you want to use it just copy it from the word pad..
