Also it has a problem restarting. If I let it set for a while though it starts right up. Seems to me like a heat related problem.

Sounds like a heat problem. Check your fan to make sure it isn't clogged with dust or not working. Also, check where you have it sitting. If it is in a cramped close space, air circulation could be a problem.

I haven't checked how much power supplies are, but I'm sure making sure the fan is working will be a cheaper solution. If it is still acting up, try switching the power supply. Did you beef up your computer before this started happening? Maybe you don't have enough juice from the PS. Just suggestions.

Sounds like heat related, open it up and see if the Fan on the CPU is clogged with dust. If it is use some compressed air to clean it out and then try it again

possble cause
Your CPU is to hot and he restart.
Low free memory the computer reboot for a refresh
Low free video memory...
Power suply, power bar trouble.
Alt+f4+enter
Ctrl+alt+dell 2x
trouble with the restart bouton.
power management seting
