Gosh, look don't worry. It was ur mates fault anyway. I think you should tell them about it and see what they say. But I'm not sure about getting into trouble at school but, remember, things always turn out fine at the end!

If the only thing you did was increase the size of the tool-bar. I don't think you'll get into too much trouble. That's just a simple matter of dragging it down. I just tried it here on a library computer. And it's fine. When you went to decrease the size of the toolbar. Might not have been dragging in the right spot.
Worst case scenario in my opinion would be that you'd only get a talking to/warning.

No, you're not in trouble. It's a minor problem. Try logging back in.. Right clicking on the tool bar, ( in the middle, not the start button ).. and making sure "lock the taskbar" is not checked. Then drag it, once again.. by clicking on the middle, not the start button, down to the bottom or wherever you want it.
cheers

I would not worry about it. Most likely when the next person logs on everything will be back to defaults.
Besides, you are not going to get into trouble for accidentally moving the taskbar. Nobody is going to send you to the principles office.
You should have just grabbed the guy/gal at the help desk and told them what happened.

You can drag it back to the normal position easily. Make sure that the taskbar is unlocked. Then try dragging it. After keeping the mouse in the correct position of the task bar, drag it back to the normal position.

Right click on the start bar, and click on, to untick 'Lock the taskbar'. You will then be able to drag it back to the bottom.

The computer technicians at schools can normally reset user areas, so just ask one of them. Believe me they are quite used to kids doing stupid things on computers and changing settings etc, so I doubt you would get into trouble. Just own up.
