I'm searching for a sony memory stick micro (m2) at a good cheap price. i would prefer the 256 or the 512mb model. i would consider the 1gb model too. Any1 know where i can get one?

i would like to buy a computer that is for basic use. the problem is that i don't know my computers that well so i came to yahoo answers to look for answers. i would like a cheap but not to cheap, in the range of $ 400- $800. i don't care about brand names, all i can about is that itsd workable. when installing windows it always asks if you want a RAID driver/third party installed (it asks you to press F6)

I restarted my Powerbook G4 and the airport card is no longer being recognized. I checked to make sure it was installed correctly still and it looks good from what I can tell. What would cause it to stop being recognized all the sudden? Whan I do to make it work again?

When I turn on my computer it just stays at the very first screen. Its the initial startup screen thats blue and has the HP logo on it and at the bottom it says Esc - setup, F1- boot menu, etc. It just stays there and doesnt continue booting to Windows or anything. Also the keyboard doesnt seem to work because I've been trying to get it into safe mode or the boot menu and its not responding. HP told me the motherboard might be out. Any other ideas?

Okay, I have a Dell 600m, and when I keep the power plugged in to my computer, it doesn't stay in. It doesn't fall out either, it's half and half, and it says it's on the battery, not the power outlet. It doesn't stay in. Also, when I push it in, it stays in for like 2 minutes, and then the screen flickers and it comes out...help me please!

On the desktop when I go to properties/settings the max resolution I can choose is 1280X1024. How can I increase this?

According to the specifications of my X300 Radeon card I can set the resolution higher then this but it wont let me on the desktop.

Is there any other way to do it?

Every so often, for absolutely no reason that I can discern, my computer says that I have no cd drive, eventually like 3 months later it comes back briefly. I have a Sony
Model : VAIO VGC-RB30
Memory : 512 MB = 256 MB (removable) + 256 MB (removable)
Maximum amount of memory : 2.0 GB
CPU : 3.0GHz Intel Pentium 4 530j
Chipset : 800MHz FSB, Intel 915G Chipset.

This is a two part Question
1.)What is a Chipset. I went on intels website and it says its upgradable up to 4gb of RAM but the sony website says its only upgradable to 2gb why is that and can i put 4 sticks of 1gb each is is says no???????

2.)My CPU. I wanna upgrade that too but im not sure if my computer can support it. I wanna get a "Intel® Core™2 Duo Desktop Processor E6600" On intels website

My computer/laptop is always shutting off when ever it pleases! I always have it plugged in but it still always seems to be losing power. Does my battery need to be replaced or could it just be where the plug goes in it's just too loose or something and keeps coming disconnected? Sometimes when it's plugged in I get this popup message that says that there's 3% battery left and it's charging. Why would this come up if it should be running solely on electricity already? I really don't have the money to take it to be looked at unless I feel that it's absolutley necessary. Have any of you had similar problems?
