When you turn on your PC, you may see a message on the screen like this: "Press F2 to run setup" / "Press DEL to enter setup" depending on which motherboard you are using.
Press the required key and go to BIOS setup. Go to the Power tab and select, after power failure --> Stay off. Save the settings and reboot your PC.

How did you ask this question if your computer keeps turning off?
Well aside from my smartass question, it might mean that your computer is over used or just needs a break. They do get tired too, you know. If it keeps doing it, than take it to COMP USA or FRYS or another computer/electronic store. They should be able to fix the problem, or at least con you into buying a new computer from them.

Try continually hitting f8 as it boots up. Select safemode and then allow it to boot into safemode. If it boots into safemode, check to see if there is any new software and uninstall it.
If it doesn't boot there, try opening your machine and making sure that all of the connections are solid. Sometimes it'll reboot like that if the hard drive cable is loose.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
