WELL, on one hand Macs are great and virus free and WAYYY easier to use, once you get the hang of them(essentially it's more a question of un-learning the MicroCrap commands)
For Media, it kicks a PC's BUTT!!!(That's what Macs were designed for, Media/Graphics apps)

However, MacBooks are relatively expensive and hard to find on sale, so if you are looking for a Laptop on the cheap, PCs are the way to go, unfortunately...
I'd so definitely invest in a Mac....oh wait, I did....lol

I have owned them both and the major difference is that software is a little harder to get for the Mac.On the other hand not many people write virus programs for Macs and they do have some awesome graphics. But as I found out you can't run windows programs and they tend to be more expensive than windows PCs.I like my hp just fine.Get the free zone alarm .Get the other downloads and you will be off to a good start. All of this stuff is free.I all so run yahoo's security suit And haven't had any problems in quite some time.

Hello skittle_muffins,

MacBook is the one to get. No viruses, easy to use interface and user-friendly programs. Their new system is a home entertainment center. Check out their web site:

Best of luck with your choice.

I would never touch an apple. They just don't make as much software for macs.

If your worried about getting a virus, just make sure you have virus/firewall software installed.
