...I need a system that will significantly increase my MMORPG play online. I get significant lag from World of Warcraft while playing online and the expansion is about to come out which will require more minimum requirements to run than the original. Also, Battlefield 2 won't even run without lag every 3 to 5 seconds happening.

I need a gaming PC configuration that I can build that can confidiently run these games. Please Help!

I want to upgrade my HP PAVILION 754n that has a pentium 4, 2.5ghz and 512mb sdram (will be upgrading to the maximun of 2 512mb slots this week) with 80gb

I want a new CPU preferably a dou core and I would like to build my own PC by using the parts of my old PC

is it ok to buy a new motherboard that supports a duo core CPU, plus a new CPU and RAM that is compatible with that motherboard for now. I just dont want to buy all the parts to build an entire PC all at once (cant afford it right now) but I want to build it along the way by later buying a new graphics card, a new power supply, DVD drive, possibly extra storage to make it like 300gb, and well any extras that I would want after that wouldnt be a problem, but I just want to know if what I have in mind is a good idea? Im estimating that spending around $400 on the new motherboard,CPU and RAM would do it (not on the entire PC parts I know that would be more) I just dont want to spend alot more in one shot

Thanks

I tried swapping in a different "good" monitor and get the same thing. This first happened when I tried to replace the original monitor with a newer one (both are CRTs). The resolution was WAY too large with the newer one so I rebooted but the monitor would not come on. I swapped back the old monitor and the monitor would not display at all.

I have asked a question about this issue before (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061101094109AA4ERu2) . Is there anybody using SpeedFan here. I started to have doubt about the uprightness of the monitoring. For about more than 5 minutes my CPU tempeture is over 110Celcius. Is this possible? I am shutting my notebook down after submitting this question.
God bless...

I have lots of black and white negatives (showing images taken from a microscope). I want to make digital copies of these images, in the past I have used a digital camera attached to a light box to take photos. However this camera is now broken and when I use our scanner to scan in the images they come out too dark.

I need a scanner which shines light through the negative and takes the image from the top. I'm not to bothered about fancy resolution or anything as I'm not making pictures just storing the images. There seems to be a large range of very confusing choices, so any suggestions of a good cheap model.

Hi, Well....I know this wasn't greatest idea in the world, but I used Endust on my laptop LCD screen. (in the directions it said it was safe... boy was i wrong..) well... it put a nice water mark on my screen...kinda making it a lighter shade. I have good hope that it will try but want to make sure. It didn't damage besides that... all color is there and still ok... just looks like a water spot... is there anything i can do? thank you very much!
