If the dataport is a wireless router you'll need to have either an internal wireless eithernet on your laptop or a PCMCIA wireless eithernet card. To set up you connection you will need to go to the host computer and setup a wireless network connection by going to Control Panel from the Start Menu and selecting Wireless Network Setup Wizard. The directions there should be easy to follow.
