Any recomendations? I am in the market in buying a new scanner that works great on photos and negatives. (max. $175.00). with all features that work with operating system: Mac OSX Tiger.
Your help would be very much appreciated.

Hello Geof,

Any scanner that is TWAIN compatible will work with the Mac OS X. You can usually find out if a certain brand of scanner is compatible with Mac OS X, by going to the scanner's manufacturer web site. It should say right on the package if it is Mac compatible. If it is, it should have drivers available for the Mac or simply have a compatible TWAIN data source.

Apple no longer lists the scanners.
