i have a new 61> jvc ty im trying to connect my pc to it BUT all i can see is when the pc reboots (sequence!!) then it turn into coloured line ALL over can u help ty in advance.

It could be that your video card in your pc isn't big enough to support being shown on the tv. If it's a laptop, I'd take it to Best Buy and get them to show you what to do to make it work. If not, you could always just call them. They can tell you exactly what to do.

You'll have to check and see if your new tv has a input like your monitors. If not you'll have to use audio/video out on PC to your TV. It all depends on what type of computer system you have and the hardware in it. we'll need more info on that.

hwo are you hooking it up, wheneve ri hook my computer up to a tv, i use an svideo cord that goes form my nvida geforce 5600 into the tv, and i still have to have a moniter, to change settings so it works, and you said thgere are colourd lines, well taht means it is connected, just not the right way, or maybe you have to change settings on your computer

Try seeing if you have a tv output option in your video interface.
