Try wiping your clothes,hands and hair and bottom of sneakers with a dryer sheet it really works always use a anti-static dryer sheets in winter to keep away the static.

could be your clothing that could be causing the static, i know when i were stockings for work i will have alot of static

hey i was just going to ask the same thing!! that happens to me everytime i open the car or door! weird! now i kick the cardoor to close it coz i'm scared. haha just sharing.^_^
