I have a samsung CLP-510 colour printer. An error message reads;

" Replace/Install waste toner tank"

having contacted local office supplies, they advised the toner tank could easily be empited into a bin bag rather than buying a new one.

thus it has been totally emptied & correctly replaced - fitting in nicely. but i can't get rid of the error message - it's still telling me to empty it & hence will not let me print nor operate any of the menu buttons.

I have turned it off & on, reset it, checked the online instructions which simply suggest i do what i have done - but it still won't clear the message, & still won't print!!

Please help, i need the printer desperately

i was only plaing games on the internet with my antivirus activated and at one moment just the internet was running and the rest of the icons has disapered togheder with the start bar. i saw some comands that should work but i cannot do nothing because i don't see nothing from were i could do that. please help, thank u.

I came to Yahoo to ask questions on how to fix my USB port because it wont detect any USB cables. But instead I got an reply from some guy on yahoo answers that claims he can fix my computer from home and needs just my IP address in order to fix it. Can he really fix my computer from where ever he is or will he hack my computer and gather private data?

How can I turn off ACK mode on my Belkin FD5 9630-4 wireless router, I need this as my Nintendo DS wifi keeps cutting out and this is a recommended thing to do. I go onto the settings, into the wireless tab and onto Channel and SSID, I am told this is where the setting is but I cannot find it. Can anyone help???

using MLA writing style- which dictates that you must have you last name with page number 1/2 inch from the top of the right hand side of the page. I can not get it any higher than 1 inch- even though I adjusted the margins for the top of the page to 1/2 inch.... I don't know what to do- HELP!!

I have a HP laptop with vista windows and the virus protection that came with it has expired. I've been trying to download avg free but can't get it to work. Can someone tell me how I can get free protection that is compatible with vista windows. Simple terms please because I'm kinda new at this. I just bought a new (larger) hard drive as my old one is showing signs of age. I have a lot of files that I'd like to put on the new hard drive. I also have game data on the old one.

How can I move everything from the old drive to the new one without causing problems with my applications? If I use a cloning application will it move the registry too?

I have an HP Pavilion Desktop with a CD/DVD RW and a separate DVD-ROM as drives 'E' and 'F'. The O/S is WinXP SP2, updated.

Until recently, inserting a DVD into the DVD ROM drive started the Windows Media Player automatically. Sometime in the last 2-3 weeks, something has changed so that NOTHING happens when the disk is inserted. The tray does try to read the disk (green light flashes), but WMP won't start. The DVD is OK - I can start it by using options in the WMP or be bringing up one of the other DVD s/w packages (Interactive Video?), at which point everything works fine.

I have followed the Windows instructions to set the drive preferences through MyComputer and Properties, but the selections don't appear to be saved after OK is clicked. I'd prefer *NOT* to have to revert back to a system restore point, as there have been security changes to the Norton IS package, which would have to be downloaded and installed again (this problem started erarlier).

Suggestions welcomed.

Okay, so first off, I have an Acer Aspire, Model: MT500A. I have been trying to figure out (from work, where I have no access to the PC) what kind of motherboard this baby has, and I have had no luck, even calling ACER, they were unable to assist me. My question is, does anyone have this computer and or KNOW what motherboard it comes with, OR... does anyone know how easy it is to figure out what motherboard a computer is equipped with... the extent of my computer hardware knowlege consists of replacing video cards and memory by myself, everything else escapes me a bit, but how easy would it be to locate the motherboard inside the tower?

I downloaded both Registry Mechanic and Ccleaner. It turned out that Registry Mechanic offered only a free trial. The free trial included running the program, pointing out hundreds of errors and fixing something like sixteen errors and leaving the others.

Ccleaner was truly free and I thought it would do the same job as Registry Mechanic, but it didn't. When I ran Registry Mechanic after Ccleaner, it still pointed out 323 errors.

So, I'd like to download a totally free product that will fix some of these errors. Any suggestions?

So how can I prove this to my friend?

(I have a sony Vaio and a macbook and i HATE the macbook, it's not that i'm uncomfortable with it i just hate the way it does things like downloading and omg they're so slow and freeze every five seconds)

so are there some websites that list all the pros of a sony or all the cons of a mac or something?

if you think macs are better then don't answer this question cuz i don't care.

(I also have the newest Vaio, it is the coolest and best computer i've ever had, everything about it is amazing)
