How can I turn off ACK mode on my Belkin FD5 9630-4 wireless router, I need this as my Nintendo DS wifi keeps cutting out and this is a recommended thing to do. I go onto the settings, into the wireless tab and onto Channel and SSID, I am told this is where the setting is but I cannot find it. Can anyone help???

Thanks very much.

I could not find anything on the router model number you provided.

But the ACK mode is usually enabled/Disabled by enabling/disabling the QoS Service, which should be found under your wireless section.

If you do not have this then your router does not support QoS and that means it does not support the ACK mode either.

A router that has two channels uses the higher channel as a backup of sorts. As long as you've enabled the 5GHz channel in your router's menu, it will be available to any device that can connect to a 5GHz channel. If your device (in this case, your gaming device or your computer) is not able to see the 5GHz channel it means either your computer/device isn't compatible with it, or it's too far away or the signal is too weak to attach to it. 5GHz channels are especially susceptible to interference, and don't have as wide a range as a 2.4GHz channel
