I have two computers at home, both with high speed connection to Internet. In one of them I have an HP Photosmart 3180 printer.
Is there a way I can send print jobs to my printer from the computer that does not have it attached?

If your computers are networked together, a you need to activate printer sharing for the network (assuming Windows XP). Go to control panel then printers and faxes then click to the printer to highlight it. Once highlighted, left click on properties and a pop up box will appear. In this box, choose the sharing tab and give the printer a name such and make and model no> (HPpsc150) or something generic like printer1 and click ok. may need to reboot in oder for the change to go through

If you have a network at home yes.

You can share the printer on the network by right clicking it in "Printers and Faxes" and select "Sharing". This will allow the printer to be shared throughout those attached to your network. In order for the other computer to detect the printer, the printer has to be on.

Two ways. 1. The printer must be networked to each computer. 2. If your computers are networked together then you can do it. The last option is to copy your document to a key drive or portable external hard drive and then move it to the other computer for printing.

Hi. Yes if you have the computers networked. The printer can be set up as a 'shared' device.
