i am using a telnet but can any body tell me how to change the

port of telnet and i am secure my connection ......

having a problem at our computer lab where students put games (commercial games) on their computer and use some kind of folder locker that makes it undeleteable is there a way to prevent this abuse.

I am a frustrating problem with my computer whenever it is shut down the hard way, like when we have a power failure. When I try to turn it back on, everything powers up right away, like the laser mouse and the monitor, but the cooling fan on the computer kicks in and the DVD and CD drives lights blink like it is doing something as soon as I power up, like it is in the middle of a process and the monitor turns on, but remains black... not a thing comes up on the screen. I end up having to power the computer up and immediately power it down by holding the power button, and I do this over and over again until I can turn the system on without cooling fan kicking on right away. Sometimes it works after the 2nd or 3rd try and sometimes I can repeat this process for 45 minutes until it works. Anybody know why this happens and how I can fix it? This is the ONLY problem I have with the computer.

desktop> right click> display properties> screen saver tab> monitor power button> power schemes> For a home computer, which setting is best? Also, does this setting have anything to do with my monitor screen going black (then I can turn it off, then on again and it comes on for a few seconds- after doing this about 20 times, it finally stays on) ?? (my screen saver is not on)

ok.. this may seem a bit confusing but if you culd help me it wuld be great.
A while ago i made a myspace account using one of my hotmail email addresses. I have since made a new myspace account, so i never go on the old one. The problem is, i can't actually log on to the old one to delete it. I have no idea what the email and password for the old one was (coz i kinda made heaps of accounts) and so i was just wondering if there was any way to delete the myspace account without having to actually log on. Also is there any way if Hotmail or something would send a list of the email accounts i have created to my current email address? Yeah anyway thats about it.

I am trying to clean up my computer,. I have put my disk in the reboot and start again, and load up. And it won't I have trasnferred all files to my old computer, and now on the old computer I cannot get access to files. The guy a share with, and I had a fall out, and i believe he has stuffed around with the computer. I mean the old computer,ltht I transferred my files to. Now the administrater password does not work. Also, I can't get my new computer to re-load from my disk either and it's only three months old. I need help urgently. I notice too on my new computer I an denied access, to how my computer is used, when I go to Access and controls.
