presently I have 80 gb hard disk with win 98se in my c drive of 20gb and it is only 2.40 gb used. I am upgrading to intel dual core with 1 gb ram & will work with win xp or vista. i intend to not download any thing other than windows on c drive so i don't want to keep much space for c drive. pl also guide is there some program which automatically downloaded to c drive & secondly is it necessary to keep antivirus on the same drive where window is loaded.

I leave my computer on overnight never had a problem before. This morning I moved the mouse to make the screen saver go away and my color is very dark and I cant see unless I put the computer towards the sun. I have turned it off two times but still is doing this. What to do?

I have a hp photosmart 2575 all-in-one printer..im having a problem with the right hand ink cartridge i keep getting the (remove and check cartridge on right) message coming up on the printer screen.its a new black ink cartridge so it maybe faulty as i have never had this problem in the past...what do you guys think any ideas what maybe wrong????

my cpu is a athlon xp 2500+. it should read at 1.83 and when i go to windows and look under system. it dosent even say what cpu it is and says its running at 1.01 what is going on? alos the heatsink is a foxcon if that matters. and the motherboard is a kt400 thanks for any help.

the mic works and the speakers for the pc work but no headphones... I also dont see any kind of option for them in the "volume control" should there be? there is a slider for the mic not for the headphones... pain!

When I turn my one PC on, it a message comes up that Windows has not loaded properly. It gives me the option to start in safe mode, start with last known good config or start Windows normally. I have extensively tried each of these options, but it only gets so far as the Windows XP logo with the blue progress bar before restarting and having the same problem. I have turned the PC off and on and tried again,but no luck. Please help, I don't want to have to reformat.

I dont want aser or asus or fujitsu. Which is better, A sony, toshiba, hp, dell or a compaq. it should have loads of harddrive memory from 120gb. I dont play games on mine. I want to create a custom background image for the entire index page of my site. I have an 800px by 800px .png file coded into the CSS.
#main-container {
background-image: url(/assets/images/800x800.png);
}

It shows up in Dreamweaver. It shows up on the internal site check browser... When I FTP the changes to my site, the background image does not show up.

Is this a CSS error on my behalf or a browser error I am not aware of.?

How do designers get those elaborate background images on their pages.
