I've tried clicking goin through the start menu also....any ideas?

Try reinstalling the AOL software. It might have become corrupted somehow.

Got to be more specific, is the program not showing at all? are you getting an error? have you moved the location of the AOL program? try not to go through the shortcut, but through the application itself by going to C:\Program Files\AOL\
