I plug the speakers to my computer audio but no sound coming out. I went into the control pannel to see what was going on and found out that the audio sign has an exclamation mark on it. The audio control pannel is blank.

Hi to all Visual Basic 6 programmers: I am doing a project and i really need help.. i wanted to make it this way. when the form loaded the values on listbox sums up on a txtbox.?

to make it clear:
i wanted to have a program that will sum up all the numbers on the list box and automatically show the summed number on a textbox when the form loaded.. :) who can figure it out? any help will be appreciated.. i hope this questions helps other users too..

I am a graphic designer looking to apply myself to programming. I want to choose a language that will enable me to deliver web applications, and provide a solid foundation for the programming languages to come. However, I don't want to spread myself thin by trying to learn multiple languages at once - I want to choose one and learn more later.

Which is better for today, and the next 3 years? PHP, Javascript, or something I haven't mentioned? Opinions are nice, but please provide sound reasoning.

I love my mac but have too many networking problems and because of that am considering switching to a pc. I really want to stay w/ a mac because I work w/ media, but I can't afford to if I can't network effectively (one of the big probs: Microsoft Word/excel docs saved on my mac often don't open on pcs, even though I have word installed on my comp... is this a file format issue?) help!

I play a game called o2jam and simply it is a game where notes fall from the sky and you press the corresponding keys. Problem is, i noticed that when i am holding on to 'f', when i press 'j' there is no effect, however, there is no problem if i press other keys together, such as 'd' and 'k'. Can some body help?

I've had this dinosaur for years and last month I found out it makes excellent photographs with the right paper. It is great for a $99 machine. But now when I scan it will only let me use the preview button which works and shows the copy on my screen, when I "scan" you can hear the scanner scanning and the scan status window opens and goes from 100% to 0, then the lexmark window sits for 3 seconds with no doc showing and then the whole window closes. It still copies good, but when I try to save, email or edit the docs it scans and closes itself. I've shut off the whole pc overnight, unplugged all electric on and off, and when I remove the usb cable from either the machine or the pc you can hear the pc ding proving the cable is working correct. Any ideas, or time to buy new?

I want to purchase a MacBook Pro laptop (the 15-inch one), but only if Final Cut Pro is already installed on it. Will it automatically be installed on the computer or will I have to go out, and buy a Final Cut Pro installation CD?

right i have a laptop and a pc but i have a video file on the laptop which i want to transfer to my computer but id like to do this without the use of a memory stick if possible? because i dont have one and cant realy buy one beacause id just be using it this once. i know somewere i have a double ended usb cable? would that work if i plugged one end into the pc and one end into the laptop?

if there is another way though please let me know, thankyou.

oh and also incase it matters the size of the file isnt that big? its basicly a twenty minute episode of a cartoon so yeah.
