I'm not a gamer so I'm not looking for a high end video card. However, I do want to be able to play media on my computer on my TV. Any recommendations?

I have dell inspiron 6400 laptop with wireless card:Dell wireless 1390 WLAN mini-card rev 4.4 and my operating system is
windows vista home basic.

I want to change MAC address.I done following step but when I check my mac address with "ipconfig/all" in command prompt
my phisical address of wireless card DIDN'T change! please help me.
I done :
1.right click on Dell wireless wlan utility from the utility icon in the notification area and click on manage wireless
networks.
2.in manage wireless network i go to the adapter properties
3.on configure... and advanced tab I select locally administrated MAC address
3.in value text box I write correct mac address then I click ok

Their is only one power lead socket on the main computer box. Normally isn't there 2. One to plug into the mains socket and one to power the monitor. I can't work it out. Cheers.

my ethernet card is not working (onboard), to repair servicing people told me that they have to replace entire motherboard which costs a fortune, i do have wireless service on my machine & router too. problem is without network card i cannot configure wireless router. Could you please anyone suggest me to solve my problem.

Well, the last time I saw it, was three weeks past.

Usually my LimeWire downloads around 20-40 KB perFILE no MATTER how many files I am downloading in it...but now it can only download 27 KB MAX...if I distribute it to 5 files, then the download count would be divided by five...

What's going on? Or was the download before just a fluke? And the real limewire download is like this?...can anybody tell me what to do to get that speed back? And can I get more than 8 hosts to download for each file? Cause even when there's 50 hosts, it says that it's only downloading from 8 hosts only...

Oh yeah, my internet's bandwidth is said to be 384 KB...anybody can help?

i downloaded Northen anti virus 2005 and then it says to restart comp. once i restart it doesnt go pass the log on screen( the screen which you choice to log on your user with ). i had to use my recrovy cds to get it my comp back. someone help i cant do anything on my computer. i tried installing AVG doesnt work, (same problem).

Now Ive emailed xbox site and they sent me some information that didnt work. Whats happening is I hook straight to my modem and I set the IP address and DNS serves to automatic like they told me to and failed at IP address. I asked a friend of mine and he gave me his IP information and I entered it manually and it passed but then the DNS failed and I entered his and it didnt work. When i look at my modem it says that my ethernet is connected, ( the little green light is on, and is marked link/act). Someone told me to reset my dsl modem but i dont know how to do that. I disconnected everything and retried over and over again. Dont know what Im missing or what is wrong. Can someone please shed some light on my situation. Because Xboxlive sucks when your not connected to it. lol.

I'm thinking of going to upgrade my computer to Windows Vista, the only thing is that i have Windows Xp Professional and one of my Hard Drive setup is a Dynamic Hard Drive, If i upgraded to Vista Home Premium will my hard drive still be there or will it not show up.. b.c i read that only vista enterprise and ultimate supports dynamic hard drive.

It's giving off this sort of burning plastic smell when i turn it on. smells sort of like some moisturiser cream... yesterday i could swear i saw some smoke rising from the area under my desk where the CPU is. I've cleaned off the dust from the fan and air holes behind... but i'm too afraid it will burn into the floor or something if i turn it on again. What should I do now and why is it happening?

I know teachers don't consider it a valid source. Is it because "anyone" can edit it? I feel sort of bothered because I saw something that didn't seem accurate, & then a couple of hrs. later I saw it deleted. & also, I saw where they said this singer (I won't reveal her name) supposedly dated this guy in high school-but it sounded made up from a guy who obviously had a crush or fantasy about her & made the story seem as if she loved him. But I can tell it was a "fan" saying something false & stupid.

I'm having some trouble with this when it seems as though it shouldn't be hard at all. Yet everytime I try to compile, I get tons of errors and I don't understand why. The code is supposed to read in a pattern of 30 decimal digits into an array of short integers. I need it to read the input stream, report the number of elements read, and then output the number. It should also skip any leading invalid characters and should only read 30 digits. Anything after the first 30 digits should be ignored (using a function from cctype library).
Here's the code I have .. so if anyone could tell me what I'm doing wrong it would be entirely helpful. I'm thinking maybe it's somewhere along the lines of the problem with converting the numbers to an array of short ints?

I'm a sophmore in high school and I'm a straight A student. But... Myspace is the prblem. When I come home, I go straightly to myspace... and do homework and check myspace between, and when i finish with homework its 12... and I also really need to study extra for like WASL/PSAT and stuff...

I wasn't sure about sending this message. Should have trusted to instinct cos now I can't sleep for worrying about the consequences and I'd rather have not sent it. ya i was wondering if there was a program or a way where i could push a combination of keys and it just locks my computer so that the only way i can get back on is to put a password and it leaves everything else running....i sometimes watch my niece and she hits keys and messes things up:(.......please help :)
