Does this mean how many people have visited my Blog?
How do i add a counter so i know how many people have visited?

I recently picked up a new power supply which takes up one of the 3-pin power connectors on my motherboard. This leaves me one short for one of my case fans. Is there any negative effect in using a y-splitter and simply plugging two cables into one 3-pin output? (not necessarily the one leading to my psu, i have others in use as well)

They have stuff in them like:
a file called "update" and in that file:
an .exe called update (something about windows service pack setup) and also a .dll file called updspapi.dll

There are other folders called:
"82e497a63063782d4f60e"
and
"55593f538787b06e38d5eb761113"
and
"a63bc1dd14803ed3474e422a4f1fdb"

I'm just trying to tidy stuff up, and wondering if these are ok to delete... any help would be much appreciated... Thanks :)

Also... just wondering, does anyone else have these weird files?

I had a old 433 mhz pc with 4gb & 80gb hard disk (both working fine) & pc also was working fine. one of my friend who is learning hardware assembled a new pc for me & took our 80gb hard disk for new pc. after that when i switch on old pc, there is no display on my monitor. pl guide what has happened, it was o.k before removing 80gb hard disk

I juz bought a new LCD Screen Monitor. My old CRT monitor burnt n fumed out. It cannot function alrdy. Till now I still can't find out wat was the main factor.
I wish I can do sth for my new monitor, to protect it. Hopefully, I can help to prolong its life spam. Ridiculous, right? But I m serious. Computer really important for me.
Any profesional tip?

I'm looking to buy a new laptop for university next year, and I'm wondering whether to get Windows Vista or Xp for it. Friends are telling me to get XP, becuase of the issues vista has associated with it being new. But it's been out for about six months now.
I don't want to spend more than $1700 (Australian) on the laptop.
So I'm looking at about 1gb RAM, 120gb hard drive and a dual processor.
I'm comfortable with having XP at the moment, but I will have to upgrade eventually and I don't want to fork out big bucks later on.
So what do you think?

I am following instructions carefully. Using HP DVD-R, which it says it takes 2, but when it gets to verifying disc info, it ejects and says it encountered a problem and couldn't finish and will resume where it left off . it ejected in same place both times .
It had a (20) after the error message.

I use my computer to surf the net, watch videos on the net etc.
I play simple games on the net or by CD. Nothing heavy or 3d.
Would I really need or see much difference if I bumped my onboard video memory from 64 to 128 meg?

I use XP and have 1 gig of ram. Have Sempron 3100 proocessor.

I've put www.safewebnavigate.com in the restricted sites list of my IE, does it matter to this? Even I use Firefox, I still can't search safewebnavigate on Google. The search term is safewebnavigate. It is a rogue site.

Honestly I'm not trolling, I really want to know.
Considering how easy it is to obtain a pirated copy of Windows, does anyone REALLY use Linux at all? Lots of people download Linux, but downloads do not mean copies being installed and put to use.

When I Google searched the term "Linux cr*p" I found several comments by people who have tried Linux and had to give up on it because it's too complicated and incompatible.

I find the idea of having to type obscure lines of code to make an application or a game work ridiculous. If I have to do anything more complicated than point my mouse at a button and click "Install, Next, Finish" then Linux has FAILED.
Windows has been point&click for more than a decade.

Should I spend a whole weekend trying to set up Linux or forget it?
