Your system administrator can find out what you're doing on the internet. If he or she chooses to watch your email, they can. If they choose to add a key logger, they can.
They can identify your machine and report what internet and other activities have taken place on your machine.
This is because your machine is in a particular network with a set of ip addresses. So, you have a unique identity on your network which helps to identify your machine.

Yes they can, and it is 100% legal for them to watch your email if you're checking it at work. its a big privacy issue but it is legal for them to do. So keep your work stuff at work and your personal stuff on your own computer =P
